Travel PICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide critical care nursing in a pediatric resource pool for a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. Care spans PICU, NICU, acute pediatrics, and pediatric emergency cases for neonates through adolescents, with Epic charting.

• Provide bedside care for critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients
• Monitor ventilators, vasoactive infusions, and hemodynamic status
• Assist with intubation, sedation, and airway support
• Manage central lines, arterial lines, IV therapy, and blood products
• Support chest tubes, tracheostomy care, and enteral feeding
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families on care plans

• Virginia Registered Nurse license, pending accepted
• BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS certifications
• 2 years of PICU experience with NICU, acute pediatrics, and pediatric emergency care
• Epic charting experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Prior travel experience
• Infant-Driven Feeding Certificate

• Pediatric PACU experience
• APHON, CPHON, or OCN certification
• Previous charge experience
• Level I or Level II trauma experience
