Travel PICU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide critical care in a pediatric intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 9 beds, uses Cerner, and cares for pediatric critical and stepdown patients with 1:1 to 1:2 ratios. The hospital is a Magnet-designated Level II trauma center.

• Deliver direct care to critically ill pediatric patients
• Monitor hemodynamics and neurologic status
• Start IVs and support vascular access care
• Assist with central line dressing changes and catheter care
• Manage tracheostomy care, tube feeding, and ventilator support
• Document assessments and interventions in Cerner

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• PALS certification
• 1 year of PICU experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
