Travel PICU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for critically ill children in the pediatric intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 9 beds, uses Cerner, and supports 1:1 to 1:2 PICU ratios with Alaris pumps.

• Monitor critically ill pediatric patients
• Support ventilator management and trach care
• Assist with IV starts and catheter care
• Perform hemodynamic and ICP monitoring
• Help with central line dressing changes
• Assist with tube feeding and placement
• Document care in Cerner and coordinate with the care team

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• PALS certification
• 1 year of PICU experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
