Travel PICU RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for critically ill pediatric patients in an acute care hospital in Anchorage, Alaska on a 13-week contract. This Magnet unit uses Cerner, serves neonates through adolescents, and welcomes first-time travelers.

• Monitor critically ill pediatric patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer IV medications, blood products, and continuous infusions
• Manage ventilators, airway support, and tracheostomy care
• Assist with central lines, PICCs, blood draws, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Support seizure care, neurologic monitoring, and rapid response needs
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and family support teams

• Alaska Registered Nurse license, with compact license and Alaska licensure before start
• BLS and PALS
• 2 years of PICU experience
• Pediatric critical care skills, including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and medication administration

• Chemotherapy administration
• Charge nurse experience
• Teaching hospital, trauma level II, and Cerner experience
