Travel PICU RN in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide intensive care for critically ill children in a children's hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adolescents, infants and pediatric patients, with Cerner charting and support from therapy, respiratory, interpretation, radiology, pharmacy and a unit secretary. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide intensive nursing care for infants, children and adolescents in the PICU
• Monitor ventilated patients and respond to changing clinical status
• Administer blood and blood products per protocol
• Manage central lines and PICC lines
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Support isolation precautions, infection control and pediatric medication dosing

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• 2 years of PICU experience
• Experience with ventilated patient care, blood product administration, central line and PICC line care

• Cerner charting system experience
