About this job

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide critical care for infants, children, and adolescents in the pediatric intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Cincinnati, Ohio. Patient ratios are 1:1 or 1:2, and first-time travelers are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor critically ill pediatric patients and report changes
  • Administer medications and support ordered infusions
  • Assist with ventilator and respiratory support
  • Perform ongoing assessments and document care
  • Coordinate treatment plans with the care team
  • Support families during complex care episodes

Qualifications

  • Ohio Registered Nurse license or valid compact license
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • 2 years of PICU experience with CICU exposure
  • Experience caring for infants, children, and adolescents
