Travel PICU RN in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for pediatric patients in a children's hospital on a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The unit serves infants, pediatrics, and adolescents, uses Cerner, and supports ventilated patient care and dysrhythmia monitoring. First-time travelers are accepted.

• Monitor pediatric patients with complex critical care needs
• Assist with ventilated patient care and respiratory support
• Administer blood and blood products per protocol
• Manage central lines and PICC lines
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Calculate pediatric doses accurately
• Follow infection control and isolation precautions

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• PALS
• 2 years of PICU experience
• Blood and blood product administration
• Ventilated patient care
• Central line and implanted line care
• Pediatric dosage calculations

• Cerner charting system experience
