Travel PICU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill children in a hospital in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit has 9 beds, uses Cerner, and manages 1:1 to 1:2 ratios. It is part of a Magnet hospital with pediatric, trauma, and stroke services.

• Monitor critically ill pediatric patients
• Start IVs and maintain central lines
• Manage ventilators, hemodynamics, and ICP monitoring
• Provide tracheostomy care and tube feeding support
• Assist with lumbar punctures and blood draws
• Coordinate care with pediatric support staff

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of PICU experience
• PALS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
