Travel PICU RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill children in a pediatric intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 9 beds, uses Cerner, and supports 1:1 to 1:2 pediatric assignments in a Magnet-designated hospital with a Level II trauma center.

• Monitor critically ill pediatric patients and report changes
• Manage ventilator, hemodynamic, and ICP monitoring support
• Start IV access and maintain central lines
• Provide trach care and assist with tube feeding
• Assist with lumbar punctures and related bedside procedures
• Document care in Cerner and coordinate with the team

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• PALS certification
• 1 year of PICU experience
• Strong pediatric critical care nursing skills
