Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Ada, OK

A Travel Physical Therapist Assistant will provide rehabilitative care for patients with physical functioning disorders in a long term care unit on a 13-week contract in Ada, Oklahoma. The role supports treatment planning, progress tracking, discharge preparation, and electronic documentation under the direction of a Physical Therapist.

• Provide skilled rehabilitative treatment under Physical Therapist supervision
• Administer manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and assistive devices
• Track patient progress and report treatment effectiveness to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Document care in the electronic record and record treatment minutes accurately
• Support patient, family, and caregiver education related to physical disorders
• Assist with discharge summaries, meetings, and care coordination
• Help obtain needed DME or supplies and support students as directed

• Oklahoma Physical Therapist Assistant license
