Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Rockland, MA

A Travel Physical Therapy Assistant will provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders in a nursing home on a 13-week contract in Rockland, Massachusetts. The role documents in an electronic system, communicates progress with the supervising Physical Therapist, and supports discharge planning.

• Deliver skilled rehabilitative treatment under Physical Therapist supervision
• Administer manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
• Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Document treatment minutes, outcomes, and required records in the electronic system
• Provide education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Participate in care conferences, rehabilitation meetings, and other required team meetings
• Support discharge planning, DME coordination, and student supervision as directed

• Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant license
