Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Lawton, OK

A Travel Physical Therapy Assistant will provide selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist in an outpatient therapy unit at an acute care hospital, on a 13-week contract in Lawton, Oklahoma. Patients include infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

• Perform selected physical therapy procedures under the direction of a registered Physical Therapist
• Apply modalities and exercise plans according to patient needs and approved treatment plans
• Assist with treatment across infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations
• Complete daily notes and discharge documentation
• Maintain a neat and orderly therapy department
• Support safe care within assistant scope and report patient response to treatment

• Oklahoma Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Selected physical therapy procedure, modalities and exercise skills
• Daily documentation and discharge data charting skills
