Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Norman, OK

A Travel Physical Therapy Assistant will provide supervised rehabilitation care for patients with physical functioning disorders in a nursing home physical therapy unit on a 13-week contract in Norman, Oklahoma. The role uses evidence-based practice, electronic documentation, and coordinated care with the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Provide skilled treatment under the direction of a Physical Therapist
• Use evidence-based practice to support therapeutic interventions
• Assist with manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
• Monitor patient progress and report treatment outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Document care, treatment minutes, and required clinical information in the electronic record
• Communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and the care team about goals and discharge planning
• Participate in care conferences, rehabilitation meetings, and required in-service education

• Oklahoma Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Adherence to APTA and state practice standards
