Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Purcell, OK

A Travel Physical Therapy Assistant will provide rehabilitative treatment in a long term care nursing home unit on a 13-week contract in Purcell, Oklahoma. The role supports patients with physical functioning disorders, uses therapeutic exercise and assistive devices, and documents care in the electronic record.

• Deliver supervised rehabilitation treatment for patients with physical functioning disorders
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, ambulation, modalities, and assistive devices
• Monitor patient progress and report treatment response to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Document interventions, treatment minutes, and required clinical information in the electronic record
• Communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and the care team about goals and progress
• Support discharge planning, consultation, and coordination of equipment and supplies
• Participate in care conferences and rehabilitation meetings

• Oklahoma Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Core documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work under the direction of a Physical Therapist
