Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Waurika, OK

A Travel Physical Therapy Assistant will provide outpatient rehabilitation care on a 13-week contract in Waurika, Oklahoma. The unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with orthopedic, post-operative, balance, gait, and generalized weakness needs, using Meditech charting and a 1:1 ratio; first-time travelers are welcome.

• Assist with outpatient therapy treatment plans under supervising therapist direction
• Guide therapeutic exercise, mobility, gait, and balance activities
• Support rehabilitation for orthopedic, post-operative, neurologic, and debility cases
• Work with young athletes and adults across the outpatient caseload
• Document patient progress in Meditech
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise and safety strategies

• Oklahoma Physical Therapist Assistant license, pending licensure accepted
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience
• Competency with orthopedic, post-operative, balance, gait, and debility rehabilitation

• Meditech charting system experience
