Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Worcester, MA

A Travel Physical Therapy Assistant will provide rehabilitative treatment under a Physical Therapist in a nursing home setting on a 13-week contract in Worcester, Massachusetts. The role supports patients with physical functioning disorders, uses an electronic documentation system, and works in a long term care unit.

• Deliver rehabilitative treatment under Physical Therapist supervision
• Administer manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and supportive devices
• Monitor patient progress and report treatment response to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Document treatment minutes, outcomes, and required clinical information
• Communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and the care team
• Support discharge planning, care conferences, and student supervision

• Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Skilled rehabilitative treatment delivery under Physical Therapist supervision
