Travel Physical Therapist in Valdez, AK

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide outpatient rehabilitation with some inpatient and SNF coverage in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Valdez, Alaska. The caseload includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

• Evaluate mobility, strength, balance, and functional goals
• Plan and deliver therapy for outpatient, inpatient, and SNF patients
• Teach therapeutic exercise, body mechanics, and home exercise programs
• Support recovery after orthopedic, neurologic, and post-operative conditions
• Document treatment progress and coordinate with the care team
• Educate patients and families on functional independence and self-management

• Alaska Physical Therapist license, pending accepted
• BLS certification
• 1 year of Physical Therapy experience
• Outpatient, acute care, and SNF rehabilitation skills
• Any charting system experience
