Travel Physical Therapist in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide outpatient care in a 15-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit treats adult and geriatric neuro, ortho, and medically complex patients, sees about 10 visits per day, and uses Epic in a Magnet, Level II Trauma hospital.

• Evaluate adult and geriatric outpatient therapy needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans for neuro and orthopedic patients
• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, and mobility support
• Document patient progress and visits in Epic
• Teach home exercise programs and patient education
• Coordinate care with the therapy team and other clinicians

• Alaska Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Outpatient neuro and orthopedic physical therapy experience
• Experience with home exercise programs and patient education
