Travel Physical Therapist in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide inpatient rehabilitation care during a 15-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The role serves adults and geriatrics in a rehabilitation unit with Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome, and parking is free.

• Evaluate mobility, strength, balance, and functional needs
• Develop individualized treatment and discharge plans
• Guide therapeutic exercise, gait training, and transfer training
• Teach patients and families safe mobility and home exercise
• Support use of assistive devices and mobility aids
• Document progress and coordinate with the rehabilitation team

• Active Alaska Physical Therapist license or compact PT license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program

• Epic charting system experience
• LTACH experience
• Acute care experience
• Neurologic and orthopedic rehabilitation experience
