Travel Physical Therapist in Kodiak Island, AK

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide rehabilitation care across hospital, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings on a 13-week contract in Kodiak Island, Alaska. The unit serves adults and geriatrics in a critical access hospital with Level IV trauma status and Epic charting. Average daily census is 6 to 8.

• Evaluate patient needs and establish plans of care
• Deliver therapeutic exercise, gait training, and mobility interventions
• Assist with adaptive equipment and safe transfers
• Reassess progress and update goals and discharge plans
• Educate patients and families on home exercise and safety
• Document care in Epic and communicate with the care team

• Alaska Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Epic charting experience

• Pediatrics and adolescent experience
• Acute care and skilled nursing experience
• Lymphedema management and wound care
• Scheduling appointments
