Travel Physical Therapist in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide outpatient rehabilitation care for adults and geriatrics on a 15-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The setting serves neuro, orthopedic, and medically complex patients in an acute hospital outpatient unit with Epic charting and Magnet, Level II trauma designation. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Evaluate outpatient adults and geriatrics with neuro, orthopedic, and medically complex needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance work, and manual interventions
• Educate patients and families on body mechanics, recovery, and self-management
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on response
• Document care in Epic and coordinate with the care team

• Alaska Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of physical therapist experience
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
• Epic charting system experience
• Clinical skills in acute care, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing settings
