Travel Physical Therapist in Kodiak Island, AK

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide rehabilitation care in outpatient, acute care, and SNF settings on a 13-week contract in Kodiak Island, Alaska. The role serves adults and geriatrics in a critical access hospital with Epic charting and an average daily census of 6-8. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Evaluate adult and geriatric patients with mobility and rehabilitation needs
• Develop individualized plans of care and functional goals
• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, and transfer training
• Assist with adaptive devices, assistive equipment, and safety education
• Document evaluations, reassessments, and progress in Epic
• Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with the therapy team

• Alaska Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
• Epic charting system experience

• Pediatric and adolescent rehabilitation experience
• Acute care and skilled nursing experience
• Lymphedema and pelvic floor care experience
