Travel Physical Therapist in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Pediatric Physical Therapist will provide pediatric inpatient and outpatient care in an acute hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit serves infants, children, and adolescents and uses Epic. The hospital is Magnet-designated and a Level II trauma center.

• Evaluate pediatric patients and update plans of care
• Treat children in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Use adaptive equipment and mobility aids
• Perform gait training, strength work, and transfers
• Educate families on home programs and safety
• Reassess progress and coordinate discharge needs

• Alaska Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of acute care inpatient pediatric physical therapy experience
• Pediatric evaluation, reassessment, and plan of care skills
• Gait training, mobility aid, and adaptive equipment skills
• Family education and discharge planning skills

• Concussion care
