Travel Physical Therapist in Kodiak Island, AK

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide therapy care across outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing settings during a 13-week contract in Kodiak Island, Alaska. The role serves adults and geriatrics in a critical access hospital with an average daily census of 7 and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome, and housing and a rental vehicle are provided.

• Evaluate patients and develop plans of care
• Provide therapeutic exercise and gait training
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and assistive devices
• Educate patients and families on safety and home exercise programs
• Document treatment and progress in Epic
• Support discharge planning across outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing settings

• Alaska Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Epic charting experience

• Acute care experience
• Pediatrics or adolescent experience
• Skilled nursing facility experience
• Wound care, lymphedema, or pelvic floor experience
