Travel Physical Therapist in Kodiak Island, AK

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide outpatient rehabilitation care in a hospital therapy unit on a 26-week contract in Kodiak Island, Alaska. The department serves adults and geriatrics in a critical access hospital with Epic charting, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Evaluate patients and establish individualized plans of care
• Treat mobility, strength, balance, pain, and functional limitations
• Instruct patients and families on home exercise and safety strategies
• Document assessments, treatment progress, and discharge plans in Epic
• Collaborate with the care team to support rehabilitation goals
• Adapt treatment for orthopedic, neurologic, and post-op needs

• Active Alaska Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program

• Pediatrics experience
• Adolescent experience
• Appointment scheduling experience
