Travel Physical Therapist in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Pediatric Physical Therapist will provide inpatient and outpatient therapy for infants, children, and adolescents in an acute hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit uses Epic and operates in a Magnet, Level II trauma setting.

• Evaluate pediatric patients and develop individualized plans of care
• Treat children with developmental delays, cerebral palsy, torticollis, and spina bifida
• Provide gait training, strengthening, mobility work, and transfer instruction
• Fit and train adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Perform reassessments, milestone measures, and discharge planning
• Educate families on exercises, precautions, and home programs

• Alaska Physical Therapist license
• Basic Life Support
• 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Acute care and pediatric experience
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist program
