Travel Physical Therapist in Kodiak Island, AK

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide rehabilitation care in an acute care hospital and therapy department on a 26-week contract in Kodiak Island, Alaska. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, averages 7 patients daily, uses Epic, and welcomes first-time travelers.

• Evaluate mobility, strength, pain, and function
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercise and gait training
• Educate patients and families on home programs
• Assess assistive device use and safety
• Document care and progress in Epic

• Alaska Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program

• Pediatric and adolescent experience
• Appointment scheduling skills
