Travel Physical Therapist in Valdez, AK

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide outpatient rehabilitation in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Valdez, Alaska. The role also supports some inpatient and skilled nursing care for adolescents, adults, pediatrics and geriatrics.

• Evaluate and treat outpatient rehabilitation patients
• Support inpatient and skilled nursing patients within scope
• Build and progress individualized treatment plans
• Teach body mechanics and home exercise programs
• Document outcomes and coordinate care with the team
• Address orthopedic, neurologic and post-operative needs

• BLS
• Alaska Physical Therapist license, pending license accepted
• 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Acute care, rehabilitation hospital and skilled nursing facility experience
• Charting system experience
• Experience with orthopedic, neurologic and post-operative rehabilitation
