Travel Physical Therapist in Stockton, CA

A Travel Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic on a 13-week contract in Stockton, California. The role supports hand therapy and uses electronic medical records for evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries. Patient care focuses on improving mobility, function, and strength.

• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans
• Provide rehabilitation services focused on mobility, function, and strength
• Document visits, reports, and discharge summaries in the medical record
• Supervise PT Assistants and Aides in patient care activities
• Communicate with physicians and care team members about patient progress
• Support patient follow-up, education, and safe mobility during treatment
• Maintain privacy, billing, and documentation standards

• Active California Physical Therapist license or plan to test soon
• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• 1 year of physical therapy experience
• EMR documentation skills
• Ability to lift, transfer, and support patients safely
