Travel Physical Therapist in Stockton, CA

A Travel Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic on a 13-week contract in Stockton, California. The role uses EMR and focuses on mobility, function and strength. It also supervises PT assistants and aides.

• Evaluate and treat patients with physical therapy and rehabilitation programs
• Develop and adjust care plans to support mobility, function and strength
• Document evaluations, reports and discharge summaries in EMR
• Supervise PT assistants and aides in patient care activities
• Communicate with physicians and care team members to support quality care
• Educate patients, answer questions and support follow-up care
• Track authorizations, test results and prescriptions as needed

• Active California Physical Therapist license
• Degree in Physical Therapy
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Computer skills for EMR, typing and online documentation
