Travel Physical Therapist in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide evaluation and treatment in an inpatient physical therapy unit on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The caseload includes acute care and rehabilitation patients across orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, and general medical-surgical services, with Meditech charting. Therapy uses DMEs and exercise equipment.

• Provide therapy evaluations and treatments
• Screen patients for appropriate therapy needs
• Recommend discharge plans based on patient progress
• Document care in the EMR
• Use exercise equipment and DMEs in treatment
• Collaborate with the care team to support mobility goals

• Active Texas Physical Therapist license
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Patient assessment, treatment planning, and discharge planning skills

• Acute care experience
• Rehab unit experience
• Meditech charting experience
