Travel Physical Therapist in Austin, TX

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide inpatient therapy support in a hospital unit in Austin, Texas, on a 13-week contract. The role serves acute care patients, uses Meditech charting, and works in a small setting with close communication among therapy and care teams.

• Evaluate acute care patients and identify therapy needs
• Develop and update treatment plans for inpatient goals
• Provide mobility training, therapeutic exercise, and transfer instruction
• Support patients recovering from complex cardiac procedures
• Document care and coordinate with the care team
• Assist with wound care needs when appropriate

• Texas Physical Therapist license
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist program
• Acute care experience, including ICU or CCU
• Strong patient mobility and therapy treatment skills

• Wound care experience
