Travel Physical Therapist in Port Charlotte, FL

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide evaluation and treatment services in an acute care hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida on a 26-week contract. The unit uses Meditech charting and supports a typical caseload of 9 to 10 patients per day. Mobility equipment is used on the unit.

• Evaluate and treat hospitalized patients
• Develop and update therapy plans
• Assist with mobility training and transfers
• Monitor patient progress and response to treatment
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Support discharge planning and mobility goals

• Valid Florida Physical Therapist license
• MPT or DPT degree from an accredited college or university
• Acute care experience
• Clinical skills in patient mobility and gait training
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Meditech experience
• ICU experience
