Travel Physical Therapist in Bradenton, FL

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning in an acute care hospital and inpatient rehabilitation unit on a 26-week contract in Bradenton, Florida. The setting serves both acute care and IRF patients and uses Meditech. It is a level II trauma center.

• Evaluate patients and establish treatment plans
• Provide therapy for mobility, strength, balance, and function
• Perform discharge planning and document progress
• Participate in team conferences and care coordination
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home exercise
• Assist with adaptive devices and mobility equipment

• Florida Physical Therapist license
• Current BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills

• Hospital or inpatient rehabilitation experience
• Stroke and neuro rehabilitation experience
