Travel Physical Therapist in Bradenton, FL

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide therapy care in an acute care hospital and rehabilitation unit on a 26-week contract in Bradenton, Florida. The setting is a Level II trauma center with IRF and acute care patients, Meditech charting, and about 4 patients per day in the IRF and 8 to 12 in acute care.

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Deliver therapy for acute care and IRF patients
• Complete discharge planning and documentation
• Participate in team conferences and care coordination
• Teach patients and families safe mobility and home exercise
• Use adaptive devices and therapy equipment as needed

• Active Florida Physical Therapist license
• Active BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist program
• Willingness to work on an IRF unit
• Critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills

• Hospital and IRF experience
• Stroke and neuro experience
