Travel Physical Therapist in Port Charlotte, FL

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide inpatient evaluation and treatment in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Port Charlotte, Florida. The unit has about 20 physical therapy caregivers, typically sees 9-10 patients per day, and uses Meditech.

• Perform PT evaluations and treatments
• Develop and update mobility plans
• Assist with gait and transfer training
• Collaborate with the care team
• Document patient progress in Meditech
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy plans

• Valid Florida Physical Therapist license
• Master of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Acute care physical therapy experience

• Meditech experience
• ICU experience
