Travel Physical Therapist in Lewistown, MO

A Travel Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat residents in a nursing home in Lewistown, Missouri on a 13-week contract. The role uses standardized assessments, therapeutic exercise, mobility work, assistive devices, and wound care in a rehabilitation setting. It also includes electronic documentation and communication with the care team.

• Screen and evaluate residents with functional, mobility, and wound care needs
• Develop and adjust plans of care using standardized assessments and treatment outcomes
• Provide manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and assistive device instruction
• Document treatment minutes, progress, and discharge summaries in the electronic record
• Educate residents, families, caregivers, and other providers on therapy goals and carryover
• Coordinate with the care team and support physical therapist assistants, aides, or students

• Missouri Physical Therapist license
• Compact Physical Therapist license accepted
