Travel Physical Therapist in Independence, MO

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide evaluations and treatments in an acute care hospital and inpatient rehab unit on a 12-week contract in Independence, Missouri. The unit uses Meditech and serves 285 acute care beds and 16 inpatient rehab beds with ratios of 12:1 in acute care and 4-5:1 in rehab.

• Evaluate patients in acute care and inpatient rehab settings
• Deliver treatment plans to support mobility and recovery
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in the charting system
• Use safe patient handling equipment and standard rehab equipment
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and rehab staff
• Adjust therapy plans based on patient response and progress

• Missouri Physical Therapist license
• Acute care and rehabilitation experience
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist program
