Travel Physical Therapist in Atascadero, CA

A Travel Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic on a 13-week contract in Atascadero, California. The role uses EMR documentation, supports mobility and strength goals, and supervises PT Assistants and Aides.

• Evaluate patients and develop physical therapy treatment plans
• Deliver rehabilitation interventions to improve mobility, function, and strength
• Document evaluations, progress notes, reports, and discharge summaries in EMR
• Monitor patient response and adjust care based on progress and needs
• Supervise PT Assistants and Aides in patient care tasks
• Communicate with physicians and team members to support continuity of care
• Educate patients on exercises, safety, and follow-up care

• Active California Physical Therapist license
• Degree in Physical Therapy
• 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
• Computer skills for EMR documentation and charting
• Ability to safely assist with transfers, mobility, and patient handling
