Travel Physical Therapist in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel Pediatric Physical Therapist will provide independent outpatient care for infants, children, and adolescents in a hospital-based clinic on a 13-week contract in Apple Valley, California. Epic charting is used, and first-time travelers are welcome. The setting focuses on developmental delay, torticollis, cerebral palsy, and orthopedic injuries.

• Evaluate pediatric patients and establish plans of care
• Perform reassessments and update treatment goals
• Guide home exercise programs and caregiver instruction
• Assess milestones, pain, range of motion, and function
• Treat developmental delay, torticollis, cerebral palsy, and orthopedic injuries
• Document visits and progress in Epic
• Use adaptive equipment and age-appropriate therapeutic activities

• California Physical Therapist license
• BLS
• 1 year of pediatric physical therapy experience
• Outpatient clinic or home health physical therapy experience
• Proficiency with pediatric assessments, plan of care, and home exercise programs

• Acute care experience
• Early intervention program experience
• Scoliosis experience
• Epic charting system experience
