Travel Pediatrics RN in Lubbock, TX

A Travel Pediatrics Registered Nurse will provide pediatric care in a hospital in Lubbock, Texas on a 16-week contract. The unit serves infants, children, and adolescents, averages 27 patients daily, and uses Epic charting. It is a Level II pediatric trauma center.

• Assess pediatric patients and update care plans
• Administer medications and manage IV and line care
• Monitor oxygen support, BiPAP/CPAP, and respiratory status
• Support feedings, breast milk handling, and nutritional needs
• Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias
• Follow isolation precautions and maintain a safe unit environment
• Collaborate with the care team and educate families

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and PALS certifications
• 1 year of pediatric nursing experience
• Epic charting experience
• Pediatric med-surg clinical skills
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
