Travel PACU RN in Salem, VA

A Travel PACU Registered Nurse will provide post-anesthesia recovery care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Salem, Virginia. The 15-bed unit uses Expanse and commonly works at 1:2 ratios. Care includes recovery for patients after anesthesia and selected procedural cases.

• Monitor post-anesthesia patients
• Assess airway, pain, and vital signs
• Administer and titrate ordered therapies
• Support recovery after ECT, bedside manipulations, and blood patch procedures
• Document care in Expanse
• Collaborate with anesthesia and perioperative staff

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• 1-2 years of ICU or emergency room experience
• 1 year of floor experience
• Ventilator and critical drip experience
