Travel PACU RN in Everett, WA

A Travel Post Anesthetic Care Registered Nurse will provide recovery care in an acute care hospital on an 8-week contract in Everett, Washington. The unit serves pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients after same-day and inpatient procedures, uses Epic, and follows ASPAN standards. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in pre-op and recovery
• Monitor airway status, vital signs, pain, and sedation recovery
• Assist with conscious sedation, MAC, and nerve block recovery
• Start and maintain IV access
• Review histories, labs, medications, and procedural consent
• Teach discharge instructions and medication reconciliation

• ACLS and BLS
• 1 year of post-anesthesia care experience
• Experience with pre-op and PACU workflows, IV starts, pain management, dysrhythmia recognition, and lab interpretation

• Inpatient, cath lab, and interventional radiology experience
• Charge nurse experience and Epic charting experience
