Travel PACU RN in Everett, WA

A Travel Post Anesthetic Care Registered Nurse will provide recovery care in a hospital in Everett, Washington for a 13-week contract. The unit serves pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients after same-day and inpatient procedures. It is a Level II trauma center with EPIC charting and a 60-room unit handling 80 to 100 patients daily.

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and procedural sedation
• Assess vital signs, pain, airway status, and responsiveness
• Administer IV medications, fluids, and reversal agents
• Support MAC, nerve block, and Phase II recovery care
• Prepare patients for discharge and reinforce instructions
• Coordinate care with surgical, anesthesia, and procedural teams
• Document assessments and recovery progress in EPIC

• Current Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• 1 year of post-anesthesia, pre-op, or post-op recovery experience
• Experience with dysrhythmia recognition, IV starts, medication reconciliation, and discharge teaching
• Experience in ambulatory/outpatient and Phase II recovery care

• Epic charting system experience
• Charge nurse experience
• Cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology recovery experience
