Travel PACU RN in Dublin, GA

A Travel PACU Registered Nurse will provide pre- and post-operative care in a hospital in Dublin, Georgia for a 13-week contract. The 14-bed unit uses Meditech and sees pre-op and post-op patients with ratios of 1:2 to 1:3 in post-op and 1:1 to 1:2 in pre-op. Level 3 trauma care and pediatric and neuro recovery skills are expected.

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care
• Monitor recovery status, vital signs, pain, and airway safety
• Start IVs and administer basic IV infusions
• Insert Foley catheters and assist with EKG procedures
• Support pediatric and neuro post-operative recovery needs
• Coordinate patient flow with the surgical services team

• Active Georgia Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• 1+ year of pre-operative and post-operative experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Core PACU assessment and IV therapy skills
