Travel PACU RN in Atlanta, GA

A Travel Post Anesthesia Registered Nurse will provide recovery care for surgical patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Atlanta, Georgia. The unit sees higher-acuity thoracic, orthopedic, neurology, vascular, urology, and general surgery cases and uses Cerner.

• Monitor post-anesthesia recovery and patient stability
• Assess airway, vital signs, pain, and nausea
• Administer ordered medications and support recovery interventions
• Prepare patients for transfer to the next level of care
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes

• Georgia Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of recent PACU experience
• AHA ACLS and BLS
• NIHSS
• Post-anesthesia recovery assessment skills
