Travel PACU RN in Atlanta, GA

A Travel PACU Registered Nurse will support post-anesthesia recovery in an acute care hospital in Atlanta, Georgia on a 14-week contract. The unit uses Cerner and cares for thoracic, orthopedic, neurology, vascular, urology, and general surgery cases, including higher-acuity recovery.

• Monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia
• Assess airway, vital signs, pain, and neurologic status
• Administer ordered medications and IV therapies
• Support care for thoracic, orthopedic, neurology, vascular, urology, and general surgery patients
• Prepare patients for transfer from recovery to the next level of care
• Document recovery findings and communicate changes to the care team

• Georgia Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification
• 2 years of recent post anesthesia experience
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Strong post-operative assessment and recovery skills
