Travel Orthopedics RN in Maryville, TN

A Travel Orthopedic Surgery Registered Nurse will care for adult and geriatric orthopedic patients in an acute care hospital unit in Maryville, Tennessee for a 13-week contract. The unit has 30 beds and serves about 15-20 patients daily. Medication dispensing uses Omnicell.

• Assess orthopedic surgery patients and track recovery
• Administer medications and blood products
• Start and maintain IVs and peripheral lines
• Monitor telemetry and escalate changes
• Support postop mobility and rehab coordination
• Coordinate with support services and the care team

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license or multistate Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of orthopedic nursing experience
• 1 year of EPIC experience and prior travel experience

• Teaching hospital experience
• Community hospital experience
• Orthopedic trauma and total joint replacement experience
• Charge nurse, port, PICC, central line, feeding tube, and ostomy care experience
