Travel Orthopedics RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel RN Orthopedics Registered Nurse will care for orthopedic patients in a hospital unit in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13 week contract. The unit has 32 private rooms, uses Cerner, and serves a Magnet-designated, Level II trauma and stroke center.

• Monitor orthopedic patients and respond to changing needs
• Provide wound care, including dressing changes and suture or staple removal
• Assist with Foley catheters, NG tubes, and wound vac care
• Support safe mobility and transfers with patient-handling equipment
• Document assessments, care, and responses in Cerner
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team
• Maintain a calm, adaptable approach in a fast-paced unit

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification

• Hospital experience
• Orthopedic nursing experience
• Team-oriented approach
