Travel Orthopedics RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Orthopedics Registered Nurse will care for orthopedic patients in a hospital unit in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. Cerner charting supports daily care in a fast-paced, team-based setting.

• Monitor orthopedic patients and respond to changes in condition
• Perform dressing changes and assist with suture or staple removal
• Manage Foley catheters and nasogastric tubes
• Support wound vac maintenance and removal
• Use mobility and transfer equipment to assist patient care
• Coordinate with the care team to maintain safe, efficient unit flow

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Hospital nursing experience
• Orthopedic nursing experience
